Life changes * 3
    #26940113 - 09/17/20 05:07 AM (3 years, 4 months ago)

March of this year I had my last trip (not last ever just most recent), I realized that I needed to try to live a more self sufficient and sustainable lifestyle. I have switched to fishing for my food as I have switched to a fully pescatarian diet and have been targeting fish generally regarded as trash fish here (freshwater drum and catfish mainly) as a sustainable source of food. My garden has also expanded and I now have a fully operational garden running indoors with high efficiency grow lights for year round food produce. I have also managed to reduce my waste to a quarter bin of my own garbage and a less than half a bin of my own compost though they are ending up full from everything I pick up. I've also taken my foraging to a higher level, having spent the thaw tapping birch trees for syrup, and the rest of the year harvesting wild herbs as bait soaks and collecting native seeds to restore our lost habitat. My last trip was on 300mcg of LSD and 5 grams of mushrooms and it totally through me through the ringer which is exactly what I wanted. Anyhow I'm back on here again and still alive, more alive than I've ever been in my life in fact. That last trip got me back into my meditation practice, and spending more time doing what I needed to get in touch with myself and more in tune with the world. I've also introduced a few new people to my lifestyle and met more who think along my lines. Unfortunately one of them wants to jump into DMT without any prior experience with anything stronger than cannabis and I'm trying to talk them down to at least a few solid doses of LSD and mushrooms first because I'd hate to see a good guy ruined but that's an unrelated topic. Hope everyone here has weathered the pandemic ok and that your families are alright and I'll be going back through posts to see what I've missed in my time away.

we all already had something stronger called dreams.

if the person cannot face the situation as a matter of dreaming by shamanic means then don't share dmt. everyone should be able to benefit from a moderate dose, many however, are hampered by pre-existing psychological issues and if you are not a therapist it is fair to back away from meddling with another person's dream body.

Yeah no he's coming around to realizing just how intense DMT can be, his main interest was that it's short acting. after explaining my experiences to him he's reconsidering and thinks he wants to try 150 mics of acid with me sitting him as his first psych experience. That's a dose I've started a few people at and consider it to really be the point where the cognitive effects become truly apparent without (generally) being too overwhelming, give him a microdose first and see how that goes of course, he may be more or less sensitive, I mean I have a friend who gets into a mild trip off 10 mics and my wife describes what I get on 175ish from 18 hits and got nothing but nausea when she did aya with 12g of fantastic MHRB and 5 grams of syrian rue so everyone is definitely individualwith her definitely at the extreme end. This guy definitely suffers from some degree of anxiety and I'm definitely not a therapist, I do know anxiety however and managed through my use of psychs and conventional therapy to overcome CPTSD. Worst case on a moderate dose of LSD I hit with sublingual lorazepam or IM diazepam, DMT he'd be screwed and I'd never know until he sobered up and was having issues.

I guess you are looking at it like a ballistic moon shot.
My approach maximizes lower horsepower excursions, and connects as much as possible with familiar aspects of dreaming, and I do not mix anxiolytics with psychedelics.

good that you have handled the nervous nellies though.

I believe you are on a right path. Keep on.

I don't mix anxiolytics when I am dealing with myself however when it comes to others and I am facing a situation where they may run a risk of harming them self, others, or potential traumatic reactions I'll have them on hand.

I hunt for mushrooms about a week after rains and definitely have beans growing in my indoor garden...chickpeas I was 'adopted' by a Middle Eastern family when and have learned all about them, daily basis food really high protein, high fiber, add a bit of olive oil and you're set with the fats too. Lentils are also great and all the legumes fix nitrogen so they help the plants they're planted with and I inoculate my compost with mycorrhizal fungi towards the end of curing to aid in that.
