Two species from the Upper Peninsula Michigan

Are these calocybe gambosa?

They had the solid reticulated stem of a boletus, gills curled inwards at the tip, growing in a fairy ring in a pine forest.

Growing from the dead tree, I could not tell from the bark which kind.

Smaller ones had a webby veil

Thick fibrous stem

i believe it is wrong time of year for Calocybe gambosa, which
is principally a spring fruiter.

I'm suspecting this might be Leucocybe connata, but don't
take my word for it. Please wait for more opinions.

Your second species is Pholiota, perhaps something like P. gummosa.
