How does it look? Reishi Tub - Updated

Hello people, Recently I started to grow reishi, tried a cardboard substrate with coffee - and spawned with colonized whole wheat. There is some vermiculite in some places that was a experiment of mine to see if it would make any difference. Now it’s been pinning.. but it’s kinda weird.. what do you think? Is it growing ok? Will I be able to consume them?
Thanks

IDK. I'd wait for it to shit out spores and eat that(that's where the goods are anyways).

The reishi looks great, that's about what it's supposed to look like
They are starting to form the conk shape so enjoy watching it grow, and don't hesitate to use the fruits when they mature, that's what most people do.
There is a lot of good stuff in the spores, but eating them is fairly pointless since they're not germinated and you'll get virtually nothing out of them without cracking them (which is near impossible to do).
So just use the fruits as normal

Awesome! Thank you for the answers, first time growing reishi so I don’t know what to expect really besides the pictures that I saw. I can update with more pictures as it is getting bigger.
Definitely gonna try this double extraction method! Thank you btw

Guess I shouldn’t misted again, and probably opened some more holes to get more FAE.. the tub was very humid for days, it wasn’t evaporating and i even misted one more time, fool me.
Well, here is the result:

I harvest the healthy looking fruits.. Do you think it’s ok to dry and make a double extraction? Or do it wet like this?

Aw man sorry to see that one go! Reishi is a monster against bacteria but it's fairly weak against molds unfortunately...
Totally good to use the fruits as long as they don't have mold on them. I would dry them first.
