It's really hard to say. I see a few that look like they could have some big potential. Does your sub still have enough water to support growth? You may not be able to tell but once you've become accustomed to the weight of a properly hydrated sub, you can lift it up and tell if it's lost a lot of water weight. If so it can be helpful to dump some water down the side of the liner and let the sub drink it up.

It's bruiiiised.  The albino one looks interesting if you used MS maybe it's a hybrid.  According to RR they're all hybrid fruits if using MS.

I rarely seem to get big mushrooms on the first flush. Second and third is when it usually happens.

For example first flush

Second

Third

AKA, if I get anything remotely that big on my first flush... I'd be happier than a mushroom on cow poo! :psycow::poop:  I'm gathering that's the general consensus, 2nd & every subsequent flush after the first produce bigger fruits. I'm excited!

verum subsequentis, that's a great question which I don't have the answer to. I've been trying to pay attention to the surface conditions and make sure the substrate has water droplets. I was actually concerned about this and messed with the humidity controller in my Martha set-up as evap was happening a lil to fast meaning I wasn't seeing as many droplets I would have liked to. I'm actually a lil confused still on dunking them with a Martha set-up and need to figure that out pretty soon.

Does anyone have suggestions/indicators to look out for or shroomery posts to pay attention to this?

On another note.. Just like that the lil guy's veil broke, picked him, and now he's dying lol My first home grew shroom ever!

Thanks, NightWqtchman! I actually just got done plucking almost everything and have it drying now. 144.1G's wet, wOOt wOOt! The ones left in picture veils didn't break yet.

Still debating if I should pull all of the others and dunk it or leave them/it alone. It still feels moist but most definitely is lighter than originally

I'm hoping verum subsequently or AKA can chime in or anyone really who has bulk/martha experience.

Today's conditions: Plucked & drying

I've never used a martha but can recommend setting it in a tub, pouring water around the edges, letting it sit and drink for a day, dumping out the excess and putting it back as it was.

Thanks verum subsequentis, two quick questions for you or whoever plz.

1) what should i do about all these little guys & pins?

2) is there any way to know is been soaked long enough? I'm thinking I might not have to dunk it for that long with the Martha set up.

Depends if you care how they look. If you're just going for as much magic as possible, i'd let them grow and harvest just pre sporgasm. If you want them to look nice in a bag and not break apart once dry, then do what we always do, harvest right as the veil breaks. Pick pins only if they are aborting.

The way to know that you've watered your sub long enough is to watch it and see when it quits drinking but most of would rather go do something else than sit and stare at the water level in a tub for 24 hours. You may well have plenty of moisture in there. If the liner can be situated to hold a little water you could just dump a tad in and keep doing that until it's not thirsty anymore.

I’d pull those it looks like they’re mostly done.

I’ve never been into rehydrating the sub that much. If I had a really good first flush I’ll pour enough water in to cover the bottom and leave it a couple hours but for the most part there’s usually enough water left for a second flush.

I do normally soak it down with the spray bottle really well once though.

Interesting. Have you experimented with giving a good bottom watering after the first flush much. Myself and many others find it to be rather helpful.

I think I probably should’ve added that most of the time I use a lot of sub per spawn so I think it holds enough water to flush twice.

It’s been a while since I did an actual dunk though I should probably give it a shot again, I just got waterlogged flushes doing it before and pulled good weight per quart just using the spray bottle between flushes.

Your mycelium looked so damn similar to mine. AKA was kind enough to reassure me about the viability of my grow. It's starting to throw a few pins out now!
