Agar help: Am I ready to transfer to grain

So I've grown these plates from spore since the August 31 and they have shown no contamination at all. Two of them have nearly covered the entire plate, but it doesn't look like rhyzomorphic growth to me.
My question is should I transfer to grain as it looks clean, or should I transfer to new agar plates and wait for rhyzomorphic growth?
If you think i should wait for the rhyzomorph, which sections would you select for transfer? does it matter?
Really appreciate the help. many thanks.

I wouldn’t be happy with any of that growth. I would put some more spores to agar and start over.

I would transfer a few parts of that out. I almost always have spore germination look clustered like that, likely from different cultures growing in the same area. It always cleans up on t1/2. And then take your growth from there. I would not trash that. I would simply clean it up.

Many thanks. I think the best way to go then is to just do a bunch of transfers and keep notes. Plus, I'm likely to get a lot more material for the grain . Cheers Mads..

No problem man. Spore germination will always look like that, IME. You can get lucky and have nice growth, but that isn’t normal for me. But I always see it start to clean up at T1, and by T2 you can really start sectoring stuff out. T3 is about as far as I go from MS.
