I have a similar shitty one. I use duct tape to seal my bags in addition to usin it after G2G. I'm bouta just get a proper one. What size seal width do need?

I got an american international 12", coulda done 8. I got the 5mm seal. Super reliable. You can get the magnet hold one for like $80 more if you're big pimpin

Got bored and made a transfer tool. I like D3's circular transfers and had some standard size stainless steel straws that never get used. It has a gorilla tape handle so it doesn't burn the piss out of my hands. Used a dab of high temp silicone to hold the xacto knife blade in the end. It should be good for taking small transfers.

Bahaha. This happened to me when i opened the package i thought they fucked up and sent me another shitty sealer. I was super pissed until i opened it up.

im scamets' book just read the description of how to use the "blue" sealer... based on that you can tell that its crap/shit(choose prefference). Time is the currency of life and those things waste it like a.mofo

I'm currently using a 12" sealer. I'd use a 10" or 8" wide sealer if they made one with the magnet.
And you def want a 5mm wide seal not a 2mm.

Ah, yeah I missed the 2 mil and was uncertain about whether the blue model was much differentthan that white one.
I want a long sealer so that I can flat straight seal bags without sealing over the gussets. So I need at least 16". I'm thinking of getting a pedal operated sealer and running it like Eric Myers does. Keep in mind I will be doing far more gourmet XL bags than spawn bags for cubes.

I have a 20" Uline table top from a previous business venture. For Myco uses I don't think I could handle bags so fast while keeping things sterile that I would need to incorporate a high speed option with a foot press. If you can my hats off to you big bro! 🤘

Seems to be less fumbling with the foot operated model. Inoculate, pinch, seal, toss into tumbler... all within flow.
