Noob: Is this contamination or metabolites?

I have eight PF jars colonizing at the moment and I am actually fairly proud of the results. They are creeping up on being fully colonized and have primarily rhizomorphic growth (inoculated with MS). Though, while checking on them today, I noticed some abnormalities with only one of my jars. It is yellowish/brownish and the growth has stalled in the area of interest. Would anyone please help me identify the issue?
First pic is of the jar in question, the second jar is one of the healthy ones (for reference).
Thank you in advance! May your day be filled with sparkly magic and sunshine.

Interesting, you can tell because of the color, the stalled growth, or the location?

Color and texture. Could also be burnt. Did that spot get direct sunlight or a refraction off another jar heat that spot?

Definitely not. I keep them in a dark, cool closet. I’m just confused as to how only one of them were contaminated, and why it would’ve gotten contaminated at the bottom. If it were closer to the verm layer it would make sense that contams got in during incubation. Though due to the location it almost makes me question the effectiveness of the sterilization process, but I have 18 jars total (10 WBS) and it’s the only one looking like this.

Could be anything. Contam in syringe that shot out in that one jar, jar didn't sterilize correctly, ect. It happens.
BTW no need to keep in a cool dark closet. I put jars on my dresser

Yeah I know. The location is arbitrary other than the fact it it is the most convenient place to store them and is a suitable place to do so. Thank you for your help, I dumped the jar in my compost and there was trichoderma😬. Thanks for the advice.
