ironic or expected?
    #26937427 - 09/15/20 03:59 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

The USA, the world dominant nation after WWII, up to the present,( but likely not much longer), now has the stupidest world leader. I first saw some of the video, but then came across the article, which adds another dimension, to the thesis.**

https://medium.com/politically-speaking/trumps-cognitive-decline-bb79f85086de

and

** (I wouldn't go far as to call Biden decent...but the rest seems on target.)

Thank God the Electoral College only consists of 538 electors. That means he only has to pay off 400 hundred instead of 1/2 the population.

Ironic or expected? An argument could support both: If graft is all it takes to gain favor then it is both expected and ironic that a person who takes bribes gets to be led by their weakness.

I think Donald Trump is intelligent. Yes, he is sometimes rude and crass and likes to spout off ridiculous things, and he plays the MSM like a rare Stradivarius, and so on - but there is a part of him that is incredibly sharp.

And, just for the record, I think Trump will win. Maybe easily. I don't think Biden has a chance.

I suppose it depends on how you define smart. There are lots of gangsters and drug dealers and murderers, and dictators who oppress their people, who are "clever" by one measure.
But in terms of real happiness, and other worthwhile values I suspect such people, don't have a clue, and have basically missed what makes life worth living.

.    That the wealthiest country, became such a pathetic culture is perhaps more of a tragedy than ironic. In any case the world is full of very sad stories, that are ignored. This one just happens to have taken place in the span of about the last 75 years and to have been center stage. Except for a relatively brief peculiar moment around 1968, mainly in San Francisco and a few communes, the falling dominos have followed the arrangement that was laid out at the end of WWII. (or possibly earlier according to some theories). Trump is like the candied cherry on top of a disgustingly sweet desert, dripping with artificially flavored syrup. To me he seems the perfect incarnation of human and American folly, the perfect symbol to preside over the demise of the world as we have known it.

ok but lets all agree that the left wing is the one who has to be in charge in the long run

ok to fixing up a little fixing the earth a little on other matters that climate but soon we would have to only have left wing or a right wing that is honest and serious about doing something about the climate

like this

in the long term

that's for sure

and there is no negotiation

with our love with our love we could save the world

but no I do not want that

look at in in hindsight

it is dark here

it's trumps fault

and right wingers

and capitalism and industrialization

enough is enough

now we are so dark and poor and deprived and deranged

time to get back

time to bring light

and love

and psychedelics

and understanding

and zen

and yoga

and fellowship with

ALL

every human should care for each other and back each other up and support each other

and be there for each other

and be kind to each other

left wing

they would bring love and soundness

and sense

the way they make sense of things is

fixing it

and curing it

and maintaining it

and making is sustainable

in the process of this immense almost celestial unificiation and purification of planet

we could enjoy psychedelics

give them enough time and there will be no limit to what we can do

and become

they would take it to reasonable and super

if you let it

and from there we could go anywhere we want

--------------------
with our love with our love we could save the world

it is like in the matrix but instead of a lot of guns it would be a lot of flowers

and from there we could self transcend and love and all that that there is no limit to

without an earth there would be none of that

..

!!

Ferdinando, Matrix is such a bomb movie.  I agree with you there for sure.  It would be like the famous 20th century band Guns n Roses.
