Not an identical remake but "You Were Never Really Here" with Joaquin Phoenix was pretty close.

Apples to oranges fallacy. A more accurate analogy using murder would be creating a snuff film promoted as a film about why killing is wrong. If someone killed someone on camera for the purpose of making money off it it's okay as long as the story of the film says "don't kill people"? Do you believe 10 year olds are able to consent to being sexualized by adults?
Do you think an increase in the amount of sex workers is going to make it harder to hide it from kids?

You're the one sexualizing it though, to Enlil its just little girls dancing without any sexual thoughts coming into the picture.

Your fallacies are (once again):
Non-Sequitor 1. An inference or conclusion that does not follow from the premises or evidence. 2. A statement that does not follow logically from what preceded it.
ambiguity You used a double meaning or ambiguity of language to mislead or misrepresent the truth. Politicians are often guilty of using ambiguity to mislead and will later point to how they were technically not outright lying if they come under scrutiny. The reason that it qualifies as a fallacy is that it is intrinsically misleading.
ad hominem You attacked your opponent's character or personal traits in an attempt to undermine their argument. Ad hominem attacks can take the form of overtly attacking somebody, or more subtly casting doubt on their character or personal attributes as a way to discredit their argument. The result of an ad hom attack can be to undermine someone's case without actually having to engage with it.
Semantic: The etymological fallacy as a semantic error is the mistake of confusing the current meaning of a word with the meaning of one of its etymons, or of considering the meaning of the etymon to be the "real" or "true" meaning of the current word
---
I notice how you didn't answer either of the questions I asked about 7 times.
How come it isn't an instance of sexualizing children/child exploitation to you but if someone uploaded the clips to this site you would take it down for child pornography?
Do you think an increase in the amount of sex workers is going to make it harder to hide it from kids?

Exactly.
Perhaps(???) an analogy is taking a shower in a public bathroom. Most guys are ok with that, until they learn that someone in the shower is gay, then they don't want him in the shower anymore. There was no victim when you didn't know the guy was gay, but then when you found out suddenly everyone in the shower becomes a victim?
Just like with the movie. If pedos don't watch the movie, all is good, but if some people get off on it, suddenly the girls become victims?

One part that stuck out especially-
Of course it cuts out too soon but at least you can see what everyone looks like.
So the girls sneak into laser tag, get caught, and the one guy says they can't leave he needs their number to call parents. They refuse, one girl goes to walk out, security grabs her by the arm to keep her inside.
Second security guy comes in, says what are you doing, let the police sort it out. And that's when the girls turn on the sex appeal(. They successfully entrance one or both guards, who the girls then accuse of being some kind of pedo, sicko, at which point the guards are like, just leave, go.
The irony is, everyone who is in here saying it should play- free speech, that scene was one step away from a rape scene. What would of happened then?
Would it of been their fault, because they were dressed that way? Maybe it would of been no big deal, that's the price of freedom. I'm sorry, obviously it would be the security's fault for 'crossing the line' from looking to touching.
Just so unnecessary. The whole thing.

It could have included rap. Girls could have busted some rhymes.
I think a rap scene is more likely than a rape scene given the scenario.

The movie is meant to make the little girls sexy.
There's no, if you look at little girls bending and trying out their bodies and become aroused, that's on you.
This specifically depicts the girls sexually. There's no gray area for interpretation, and what An oil describes his brother's girls as doing is NOT this.
Fal, the clip, as mentioned- is cut off. You can see what everyone looks like, but it isn't showing the dude get rapey. Why even put that scene in.

That would have been a great distraction from the little kids twerking.

maybe its because I'm gay but I have to side with Enlil (who is not gay) that this is just, stuff, girls dancing, that doesn't strike me as particularly provocative.
If you find this particularly provocative and sexualized and pedo then the issue is on your end.
This is an almost generic clip, I mean, is this the "hypersexualized" then you either have a hair trigger or led a sheltered life.
That photo Koods posted as an example of girls beauty pageants, that was hypersexualized, this doesnt even come close.
They are actors. Do you think they hired actual pedos to make it more authentic?
Is this the ultimate abomination?

Why is it that I must be grouped into the bunch that is either hair trigger or sheltered.
Have you watched it, Asante?
..And for the 3rd time, the clip was for the sake of a visual, it does not show what made me smh irl.

The clip didnt strike me as something that should be banned.
I had my clear doubts with koods example of beauty pageants but this was not in the same league.
Going the "look what she's wearing" approach with little girls?

Am not pointing out their outfits. Showed the clip for reference, but what I described that happened afterwards is what bothered me. Not what yall are seeing in that clip. Asante, you're great. But if you haven't seen it, you're basing your opinion on someone else's opinion. Are you able to access it?
Earlier in the thread, I had a completely open mind and even said, 'I can imagine how overblown some people are taking this.' Until ND came in, red flags waving. I played it- Okay, I see it's made in France, so perhaps there's a culture gap. Within minute 5 I had changed my stance, but I stayed subjective and gave it a go. The entire thing is inappropriate and should not be a movie. There isn't a prominent happy lesson taught, and the way this film was made has me questioning the motives of the creators. It's garbage. Smut.
None of what is being reported in this thread is exaggerated.
