Thank you so MUSH John, I'm so glad that you dudes & dudets are able to find use from the knowledge I gained from this amazing community, and being able to give back some knowledge to you is best feeling ever. I have been thinking of creating a separate hunting guide for Pelliculosa, and I you have encouraged me to do so.

I haven't really paid attention to that before, but with todays heavy rain I was finding them in small puddle or next to them in the clearcut I was hunting today. I will have some photos coming shortly & video from today uploaded soon.

Fuuukkk. That is my future. Seasonal harvest of the strongest stuff there is. Get your chores done in the fall. Think about how many individual mushrooms there are in bag like that! Like 1 cyan weighs .08-.15 grams

The stems are reflective like a street sign! If im hunting at night i like to get low and at this angle shine my flashlight. Those caps can be camouflaged sometimes

Awesome posts NOTmush. The pelli steam compared to mycena in the vid is great. Also when you peeled the pellicle!

Kinda cool. I have a few other things out for testing. I know it doesn’t look legit. But I had to crop some things out and it is one of the first official report’s this lab has sent out. They had just received their standards last week and I jumped in on a free test. I have another lab that is taking a little longer. I’m a little more excited to see those results. I already knew my azzies were potent as shit.
These were an Oregon coast first flush 2020, dehydrated within the hour of picking.
Edit:
Cropped a little too much.
