Lol yeah after a while I was like I'm really spending this much time on this? Then I had to take them out and spread them out afterwards because I didn't want them all glued together once they were dried lol. Still satisfying to look at.

All picked from this patch here
Crazy how two weeks pass by and there's nearly 10x more mushrooms at this patch

one of the more successful "put a leaf on it" jobs I've managed.
Someone, probably several hunters, managed to come through this prominent spot and sweep the leaves away from EVERY SINGLE SHRUB, except for the two where the actual patch is I mean we're talking maybe 100 small plants for a good half mile stretch. I'm not a man of good fortune so this makes little sense to me.
Anyway, if it was one of you guys (unlikely), maybe head back and try harder lol. I don't think I'll be returning to this spot this season.
Nice pics, everyone. Be smart and safe out there.

The snails were feasting on these. Very nice and hidden patch. I've been watching this place for about a month expecting them to grow from it, the habitat was pretty obvious, they just came a bit late.

Here's a little patch I photo'd on Oct. 26, 2020 at a city park in the central puget sound area.

No habitat pic cause they’re in my neighbors front yard so I harvest at night but here’s some more Gymnopilus Thiersii/Luteofolius not sure which. Did a little experiment, never found these before and wasn’t sure at what point they are full grown so I harvested half the group 5 days ago, and left the rest to grow until now. They just about doubled in size! Another patch of about 8 younger ones growing next to it, so now I know to let the caps flatten out a bit before picking

The cyanescens I have been watching grew a bit bigger and I’m excited to check on them again soon!

I’m going to make sure and feed this wild patch again it really is thriving!
The azurescens were doing well too!

Your photos are magnificent. I am so eager to find some azurescens next time I head to the coast. Love the cyanescens pics too.

Cluster near work coming along very nice. Gonna keep risking leaving em there to get to full maturity, they just look to healthy to snag now. Plus if anyone needs em more than me, you may just stumble upon a great lil cluster, keep huntin while the seasons here guys mush love
