Found these growing about 20ft away from a placed subsecotioides patch. Seem to be spreading into a forested area now

Wasn't gonna go out today but the rain made me giddy. We missed these cyans 2 times before I stepped on one. Had a gut feeling about this spot And found the god of fly agaric

Cyans are so good at looking like fallen leaves I swear to god I have to have my contacts in and just intensely look at the ground multiple times in order to see them. xD
Also, all their "lookalikes" do the same. I remember hunting with a friend about a year ago and I kept pointing out different mushrooms, and he was like "where?!" and I would point "right there" and he would be bewildered, as to how well they blend in with the fallen leaves. Good times.
On the bright side the one you smushed got spores everywhere xD

Deep in the dune, within this PNW wonderland the elusive Psilocybe spreads its spores for future generations. Azurescens & Cyanescens harvested on the blue moon on hallow’s Eve along the Oregon coast. Mycelium running, their spreading is stunning, rain is among us, so is the fungus, shrooms sprung & fall has come, go out and pick, just make sure to snip, Take a sip & enjoy your trip or swallow a stem&cap to feel like Apollo, Shrooms are medicinal not criminal, Ability to heal and understand the surreal [embed=,] [/embed]

Psilopsychic, those appear to be cedar branches in the 4th and 5th pictures? I was under the impression wood lovers have trouble growing around Cedar trees due to the acidity or something

The duff dropping onto hardwood chips seems to be ok. Cedar bark, chips etc no bueno.

Yeah they do have a hard time growing on cedar, however the woodchips around the trees dropping those are not cedar. Cant really see in the pic cause the ground is covered in debri now. I had been scoping that spot out for weeks, glad to see some action!

Here's some babies I found today

Gotta be careful out there, that list pic isn't a cyan, but was growing right next to some.
