This year seems much less fruitful. Had a few solid patches that I harvested 2-3 years in a row, and this year they are totally empty. Is it just me?

I went out and found some cyanescens today. There were many galerina marginata clusters close by. I always freak over the possibility of picking one. Anyway, I am lovin' this season.

Those look fantastic. I like how they are hiding in the grass.

No, that definitely looks like a typical p. cyanescens to me and not galerina m.

Cosmic VOC said: Anyone having any luck in the Oly area?? Im usually slaying it by now but havent found shit and it is sad
I was in Olympia at a spot I’ve been aware of for a few years - just the other day, I saw several nice clusters of pins forming in plain open daylight, as well as some spots I’d groomed over some time. I don’t spend a lot of time in Oly because I’m SKC but I hit a couple spots there every couple weeks.
Sorry if those paragraphs don’t make sense, I’m rolling nuts on molly and am having a hard time proofreading.
This was in Oly

And I probably say something about it every year, but it’s because I see it every year- to you urban mushroom hunters , be very careful not to get pricked by any hypodermic syringes, I see them all over the place, in every city. I’ve seen them uncapped and literally interweaved into patches of cyanescens and ovoids both, or hidden in grass
