I completely agree with you goingintodewood. Better to keep things civil and to not insult & not complain. Let's stick to active finds regardless of what's picked. I am so thankful this thread / forum exists. Please refrain yourselves from petty shit. And if anyone is ripping out mycelium to start your own patch, think of how many people will lose out on that patch later on. I'm sorry but no one should steal from mother Earth unless responsibly

I do lots of ripping up of the mycelium and pick any babies I feel like:

these are what most shrooms end up like anywaYS

these are out there waiting for the person reading this to get off the internet:

Heres the jar of stuntzii I was talking about earlier. I will upload pics of me flushing it down the toilet if I can get atleast two ONE person to tell me to do it

Awww man did I piss you off? I was speaking in general about pin pullin, mycilium ripping, fumbling, moronic, clown *#tards; I never said that "you" were one.
After reading your reply however, its "obvious" that you actually are; and, it doesn't surprise me that people in the past have also thought so.
Flush all the shrooms you want, why would I give a shit, your not even in the same country. I don't have to worry about you f-ing things up around here, it's your fellow citizens that have to put up with your stupidity.
Oh and by the way those are some great pics of your finger and thumbprints; way to go Einstein

I hereby make use of my 06/10/06 veteran status and ask you all to chill the f out and keep posting mushroom pictures.
I haven't been active to the forum in like 4 years and this thread is still the same every year, and look, the P. cyanescens are still popping everywhere more than ever every single fall.
Pulling a few mushrooms with mycelium is honestly not the same as burning the whole dune grass on the PNW with a flamethrower, jesus. They're going to be just fine. Unless the patch is growing on your backyard you don't own it. It's a shared resource. Most often than not it will rot away without anyone to see it. If you're so worried about your patch getting pulled apart grow them in your property.
And here's a few pictures to keep on topic:

Right by the sidewalk on a VERY PUBLIC park, about to rot unseen, several already sporulating heavily. I highly doubt P. cyanescens are under any sort of threat or vulnerable status right now.

Dude nobody is saying anything is going extinct. All I did was suggest that pulling pins and ripping out mycelium is not good mushroom "etiquette", and f-ups patches (and it really does I have seen it happen). Then all the pin pullin, myc ripping *#tards started crying about it and mouthing off, so I'm more than happy to call them on their shit. It's not about "owning" a patch, that's for *#tards; it's about preservation, consideration, and common sense which seems to be lacking in some people; and, if your such a veteran mushroom picker I would like to think that you would know better. You are very fortunate if you live in a place with such abundance that you don't care if people wipe out whole patches.
Here's a few Baeo pics to stay on topic:

i really hope it gets wetter and a lil more warm. Found a huge pinset at a chip bed yesterday and the ones that were slightly bigger than pins were looking cold/dry damaged like that. Dont take the good season from us 2020!

Azures I found today - pretty sure they’re the biggest I’ve ever found. Walked by them the first time cuz I assumed they were something else. Good thing I lost my hand rake and had to go back to search for it! Never did find it now that I think about it.
