This thread is a work in progress. If you have suggestions, comments or criticism, feel free to share.
There are definitely easier ways to make shroom gummies, but this method results in a super legit final product π
Ingredients:
8 ounces (227 g) granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons (27 g) sorbitol* or xylitol*
*This is optional. These sugar substitutes give the gummies a nice texture, but you can leave it out if you don't want to use it*
8 ounces (227 g) Honey (Or High Fructose Corn Syrup)
6 ounces (170 g) Concentrated Shroom Tea
44 grams Unflavored gelatin
2 teaspoons citric acid (optional)
1-5 drops candy flavoring. I used Watermelon, Strawberry, Lemon and Blueberry
Materials:
A fuck ton of bowls, saucepans, measuring cups, spoons, some clean 60cc LC syringes, gummy bear molds and a scale (I recommended weighing your ingredients for accuracy).
Making the shroom tea:
The original gummy recipe calls for 6oz water, so I start with 8oz water in a saucepan and add 14g pulverized shrooms (I use a mortar and pestle).
Bring the mix to a boil, reduce heat and leave on low for about 30 min. The idea is to slowly reduce the amount of liquid, creating a concentrated brew.
Strain the tea through a coffee filter and into a mixing bowl. Squeeze any excess liquid out of the coffee filter, and throw the mushrooms back in the saucepan.
I ended up with about 3oz of tea in the mixing bowl after the first brew, so I added another 8oz water to the saucepan and brewed/reduced/filtered it again.
6oz concentrated shroom tea is what we're aiming for.
Making the gummies:
Let the tea chill in the fridge for 20-30 min. Add gelatin to the chilled tea and gently mix it together until dissolved. Let it sit for at least 5-10 min.
In the meantime, combine your honey (or corn syrup), sugar and sorbitol (or xylitol) into a saucepan, mix well and bring to a simmer. Once you have a smooth consistency, add your shroom/gelatin mixture and citric acid (optional).
Once everything is dissolved and mixed well, remove from the burner and let sit 5 mins. There will be a fair amount of foam that rises to the top. Scrape this off with a spoon. The foam will not go away when the gummies set, so it's best to remove it while it's hot.

Take your gummy mixture and separate into four separate bowls. This is the fun part. Add 1-5 drops of candy flavoring and a few drops of food coloring to each bowl. I used watermelon (red, yellow), strawberry (red), blueberry (blue) and lemon (yellow). Flavor/color to taste and mix well.
Fill a clean LC syringe from the back (mixture is too thick to suck it up) and begin filling your molds. I use 60ml syringes and it fills roughly 10 bears per load.
Let your gummies set in the fridge for 24 hours.
Final product:
  
After setting in the fridge for 24 hours, you get a gummy bear with the consistency of store-bought candy. And they taste great too.
Potency:
I don't expect individual gummies to be particularly strong. This will require eating a couple handfuls if you want to trip, or just a couple bears for a microdose. If you want a stronger product I would recommend using more shrooms in the tea, using pans for the tea, or using your favorite face-melting PE variety. Another thing I'm considering experimenting with is using mushroom honey for the base along with the concentrated shroom tea. Not sure what that would do to the consistency, but its worth a shot. There is potential for packing a serious punch if I can get this right. Let me know if you have suggestions.

I love Gummy recipes like this. Nice OP. Have you seen how well they keep potency wise? Or have you primarily just consumed them immediately?

I got silicone molds from Michael's. If you use the same ones, I would recommend getting four of them. I had some gummy liquid leftover when I was finished. You can also get those candy flavors and food coloring at Michael's.

I don't have enough experience with these yet to know how long they keep. I think using honey as a base for the gummies should help them keep longer, but i think eating them within a few weeks would probably be best.

Mine were always good for a week or so. The gummies dried out so they shrunk and became more chewy but they never really lost potency.

You might consider experimenting with agar powder instead of gelatin. My gummy recipe is to combine 100 g fresh, 2 cups water, most of the juice of one lemon and boil until the volume reduces to approx one cup, then strain. Measure and add remaining lemon juice if necessary for liquid volume to equal 1 cup, then combine it with 5 g agar powder, a tsp of honey and 1/4 tsp potassium sorbate (mold inhibitor), return to a boil and then pour into molds. This recipe doesnβt finish with a Haribo texture, but it wonβt contaminate and doesnβt require refrigeration.

I have agar around so that's appealing.
How's the texture? Little bit more on the stiffer/dry side? Haribo's are kinda soft to me and wouldn't mind it a bit stiffer...not Jujube stiff, but somewhere in between.

Less chewy, more βjuicyβ. I call for more agar powder in my recipe than you would use for making a standard agar batch because, ime, the lemon juice in it wonβt let them set properly at that strength.

Yea thats kinda what I was wondering. I typically use 9tbs jello to 1c h20. Never played with citric in the mix.

Would it be possible to concentrate shroom tea to the point that 1 gummy = 1 gram? So for example, if you wanted a full blown trip - eat 3 gummies. If you want to just party and feel funny, eat 1 gummy.
How much can you concentrate the shroom tea?
