Newly into myc on agar - weird gooeys and fuzzies ?

I've been trying to get into working with myc on agar in order to do grain inoculations, but have been having trouble with contam.
This time around I used a stem tissue sample, which was my first success in growing on agar. However, I'm having trouble with making transfers to new agar plates to have more myc for inocs.
I've noticed a weird sort of goop around the transfer sites:

Another thing which looks similar to the goop around transfer sites but spreads much faster across the plates:

And the last thing I am seeing is a very wispy growth. It seems too airy to be tomentose myc, but from what I've read it seems like it isn't cobweb.

Please help a newb identify what's going on here!

A lot of bacteria going on there, that's all the gooey stuff you are seeing. In the first picture you have some rhizo growth that might outrun the bacteria.
If you see the leading edge of the myc outrun it take a transfer from the very tip of the growth.

You're growing a combination of myc, bacteria and some mold, could be cobweb mold.
All your plates are in a pretty bad condition, but in the picture of the first plate, i looks like you could actually make some okay transfers.
I see 3 spots. I'd transfer from all 1 spots but spot no. 1 and 2 is most likey going to have bacteria underneath it, so it'll take more cleaning. 3 looks like it's free from that.

With your agar work, have you only ever tried cloning, or have you also tried spore prints/spore syringes/dropping a colonized grain onto the plate?
I'm asking because that might help to rule out whether the contam is from your source material, or from your tools and techniques.

My first attempt at agar was with a spore syringe and at that point my technique was quite bad. I didn't have parafilm at the time and had read that saran wrap inhibits GE to the point of suffocating myc growth so I had plates in groups of 2-4 stacked in ziplock bags. This unsurprisingly led to some bad results.
The one plate I've had success with was a stem tissue (noted above) that grew very aggressively and looked amazing - great rhizo growth all the way to the edges of the plate, but that plate recently contamed (though the myc impressively overtook the contam).
I have some cakes nearly ready to fruit that I'll try to clone, and I also have a spore print I'm going to attempt to start from.
