Not sure, but it looks like you’re too wet in there. I get that dark streaking on the stem from too much water directly contacting the mushrooms, also the caps look slimy. More FAE, don’t mist so directly if you have been

How can you tell? Lol. You’ve been around long enough yumyum to not be posting pictures through the plastic. You can’t see anything

That was not through the plastic. I am running a cool air FAE humidifier and a sonic one pumping in FAE and humidity. I was wonder if it was too much mist so I will hit the fan attachment I have made for it. Those pins started in the jar. But too much moisture seems legit. Nothing is getting directly sprayed they sit in mist 4-5 times a day for 30 minutes.

Zoom in and look. That’s how. I can see it, even through the fog. Not saying that it’s the reason for small caps, but they look exactly like cubes that are too wet

These deformed caps are exactly what I get when the sub is too wet or I mist too much.

I am hitting with a fan for a bit to evaporate some of the moisture. I have to put the humidifier on a timer and cut it back to 4 times a day on low.

Why all that tech? Cubes don't need all that ime. What's wrong with a well dialed mono

Agreed, perhaps a shotgun fruiting chamber in this case, but not necessary. I would think the perlite and misting with a spray bottle three times a day should provide plenty of ambient humidity for those cakes.
