More specifically, Zyklon B was developed by Fritz Haber, a German chemist of Jewish descent which was at the heart of Germany's world war one chemical weapons program. He died before world war 2, wherein some of his relatives were gassed with the product he helped develop.
Zyklon B essentially is hydrogen cyanide on an inert carrier, and the HCN was made from sugar beet pulp left over from the production of sugar in the Reich. The same HCN that went to the holocaust went into the suicide capsules Nazi officers carried on their person.

dont forget Operation Paperclip:
Quote:
a secret program of the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) largely carried out by special agents of Army CIC, in which more than 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians, such as Wernher von Braun and his V-2 rocket team, were taken from Germany to the United States, for U.S. government employment, primarily between 1945 and 1959. Many were former members, and some were former leaders, of the Nazi Party.

How do I feel? Astounded that people didn't have pizza back then!
But for real, that is a jaw dropping collection. It's hard to believe some of what he has. I recognized much from finally looking at the pics my Poppop took while liberating Dachau. Horrible evil. But I appreciated seeing this, learned a few things.

WWII is regarded as the war of tanks, so I was surprised none were shown or barely mentioned.
