ID Request - Cow Dung Fungi from the pasture
    #26929077 - 09/10/20 09:40 PM (3 years, 5 months ago)

Hello friends, today in my pasture after a nice rain I noticed some mushrooms sprouting from cow dung.

I am interested in learning more about harvesting mushrooms from my fields, with the hopes of eating some if they turn out to be edible.. would be nice to supplement our garden.

The species I have estimated on #1 & #2 are Panaeolus cyanescens or  Panaeolus antillarum (but I am quite a novice at this)...

I've been loosely reading about this subject over the last several months, decided to finally attempt a small haul and spore print.

This seems like it could be a fun hobby to log, inventory, and more!

Where are you located? You could be wasting your time looking in pastures.
