Are My Pins Contaminated?
    #26929139 - 09/10/20 10:22 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

I have some cakes inocculated with Golden Teacher sopres that have begun to pin and produce mushrooms. Most of the pins look healthy and normal, but the pins on one of the cakes look a little differents. This one cake has pins that appear to be growing and healty except for the fuzzy light brown growth on thier tops. This growth only appears in the pins from the one cake. All the others appear to show healthy normal growth. This is my fist grow, so I'm not very knowledgable about the different types of contamination possible. I just want to make sure if it is contamination so I can remove it before it contaminates my other cakes. I have included a couple images with the pins showing the fuzzy light brown growth below. Thanks for any help or feedback!

Don`t worry, that`s no contam.
We see it very often on GT and B+,
just some genetic mutation.
