B+ incubation issues

Hey guys this is my second round growing some B+. I ordered the jars from Midwest and the spores from SW. I noc'd 18 jars with two 10cc syringes and it's been 10 days. I've had the jars in a closet at a steady 80 degrees.
Four of them have half-dollar sized mycellium growth from one of the 4 injection spots and the rest aren't showing anything at all. Could these that aren't showing anything be possible duds?
I had replaced the tin foil after innoculating the jars but removed it today thinking that I may have cut off any FAE they might have needed.

just be patient, spores can take awhile. they may be duds or may just be slow. tinfoil isnβt necessary after you inoculate the jars

Yeah, good you removed the foil, but just for gas exchange, not for fae.

So now it's been 17 days and 8 out of the 16 have growth. 4 more has started showing good signs of mycelium since I post this a week ago. I still have 8 with 0 signs of growth or contam. What's the longest you guys have gone and ended up eventually getting growth?

At this point I'm wondering if there's anything drastic worth trying that might help these 8 duds? Shake it? More holes?

Don't shake what looks to be Brf jars? You will destroy the protective dry verm barrier
I've had spores take up to 4 weeks to show signs of growth. After this, your chances of seeing something starts to go down. Not much you can do besides let mother nature take her course.

yeah just be patient man. thereβs nothing you can do but wait & see if the germinate or not. itβs either going to happen or it isnβt at this point. if you ever move on to agar/grains, shit gets a lot easier

If you have growth, then you are golden. I am doing 4 strains including B+ they are taking a bit longer since I am not using a heating setup. They start with that small splotch and it will grow. Its when you do not have that you should worry.
