No.

psilocybin dont produce mycelium😂 or was that not a trick question
while you cant really for sure give a 100% positive id on any myc just by picture but you can for sure make a hell of a good educated guess. so if your trying to pinpoint psilocybe cubensis and u know what your looking for then id say is its possible to give an educated guess for an answer that prolly has a high chance of being correct if u know what to look for.
if thats what your asking???

If the mycelium shows indications of being from psilocybin mushrooms should you not take pictures of mycelium since it could possibly be identified?

The DEA is not going to track you down for possession of a photograph of mycelium. Is that what you're worried about?

Even if you are right, if there is a small chance a picture could be used as proof than I would like to know.

Are you texting people pictures of your jars? Because that would be a bad idea
Could they prosecute you just based on pics, without actually raiding you and seizing your stash and testing it for psychoactives? Extremely unlikely
Is it possible that your girlfriend is secretly a police informant and the pictures you send her are used to establish probable cause to secure a search warrant on your home? According to The Wire, yes

shit u dont even have to text the shit to anyone. they can view all the pics on ur phone without u even sharing them with anyone else. just as they can listen to u thru it and watch your camera. its fuckin scarry as shit what they do and how ppl have just givin away their privacy without even being aware of the fact. just as your tvs are now also in home government agents. aaahhh the good ol days of actual privacy within your own home or car. lol its funny tho ppl use to call me crazy years ago when i told them how shit would be now they listen lol

There's a chance. A small chance. A very small chance. If we worried about everything with this small of a chance, we would go through life paralyzed.

That's true. Everything we do with technology nowadays leaves millions of little digital footprints of the things we do
I get shroom-related targeted ads everywhere I go on the internet. Ads on mainstream websites essentially advertising drug manufacturing equipment. It's hella bizarre, like an AI robot knows all about my crimes. I suppose I could learn to use proxies and VPNs and all that kind of shit, but I think it'd be exhausting to try to completely hide all traces of illegal activity
