fully colonized grain bag w/ hint of contam - usable?

Hey guys, got 3 grain bags that have been fully colonized for approx. a week. Today, noticed one or two grains with slight blue contam. Another bag appears to have a spot(literally one grain) of green.
Is it ok to use this grain to colonize my sub? I'm wondering if at this point the mycelium is strong enough to neutralize or fight off the contam? Much appreciated!

If it were bacteria id say go for it. But you can make a mess you cant recover from quick by spawning mold.

Green you can't touch this but the blue might be from bruising.

alright, so colonizing the blue could be worth it? i mean, what do i have to lose besides the sub

Break up the bags and see how they recover. If they fully recover, give them a shot.
Generally... if i see any mold in bags... those bags dont get used.

Alright, will try that. I broke up the spot where there’s some dark/blueish discoloration and there’s nothing beneath, only on the surface. And there’s literally 1-2 individual grains in each bag that appears to have contam, nothing more. Check this out -

That's bruising dawg but whats up with all the liquid inside? You lucky you don't have yellow bacteria contams. Throw out green anytime you see it don't even mess.

Nicee.
The bags seem to get more moist the longer they sit. They've been fully colonized for more than a week. Usually prep grain by soaking for 18-24 hours then boil for 10 minutes..should i try and dial that back?
Appreciate all you guys!

They look perfectly hydrated. Dry the outside more thoroughly, don't load them until they are dry to the touch and don't stick to your hand

All that eccess moisture can be from overcolonization and temp swings.

I reckon cause glass is a thermal insulator; Plastic will have more moisture content?
I wouldn't worry about your grain prep too much 100% of premade bags sold online are so wet they bacteria contam 75% of the time. if you have 100% colonization you did something right there sparky.
