Syringe to LC to Agar?

I've heard it's not good to make LC from syringes, I had some on the shelf I have white puff balls floating around,1 jar has a nice big puffy ball about the size of a half dollar it looks good. If syringes are not cool for LC, what's the recommendation for me to go to Agar? Thank you

since you have already made the LC, i would just drop a drop of the LC to agar and use the agar to see if the LC is clean. Since you are making agar, if it was me, I would make two agar plates. Drop one drop of LC to agar, use an inoculation loop and streak your spores too. If the LC grows clean on the Agar, you know you're good. If it doesn't, then you know its not good and to throw it out. At least if thats the case, you will have a plate with spores in the process of germinating.

I would drop onto plates and then keep using plates. LC is neat but its extra work and vectors for contam.
Also, its a common misconception that you need LC to produce a ton of spawn. You dont. Agar and g2g are way more powerful than most fucktards around here give it credit for.

May I ask why you quit using LC? Do you have more success rate with a2g?

I have great success using a2g and g2g. LC is just extra procedures that i dont need to waste time with.

There's just a lil taste for ya. No LC or LI was used.

How is the LC an extra step? You have to prepare as many jars as bags + you have to wash the jars after each use, g2g takes ages.
With LC, I can noc up 100-200 bags in a few hours and an LC only takes a week to finish from a small agar wedge. Only negative thing with LC that colonisation time seems to take much longer and bacterial infections are more common.
Not trying to argue with you, I am just trying to get enough reasons to switch back to a2g and g2g. i also go through 100s of bags, so I like to get things done as quickly as possible so this is why your opinion is what I really want to hear.
I read that you used to use a lot of LC but you had contamination issues so you quit using it. Can you tell me your experience?

I dont prep nearly as many jars as i prep bags!
In a sesh i knock up 36 bags. I use 2 jars to do that.
I now go thru 2 gen of jars. First gen gets a small cut from a plate. About the same size i'd xsfer to another plate.
Those jars then get expanded to more jars. By a rate of no less, but usually more than, 1:10. Then those jars get expanded to bags at a rate rate of about 1:18.
Compared to that, LC is.... extra.

Lots of good information LotKid. I like the 2 jar/36 bag ratio, it seems reasonable. I’ll prepare some today. I just hate g2ging tall bags with not so tall flowhood Thanks again, very useful!

I'm lobbying against the fanboys of agar because I'm lazy. All you need is 1CC of syringe to grains, and you can grain to grain all day! If you can turn 1CC into 100 grain jars what are you sitting online for?

You're a trusted cultivator with 800 pounds of spawn at the ready. I'm just a guy in a van down by the river.
I may think like a Morty but spore to grains no bad times.

Nice looking bags. What are you sealing them with? I spent $30 on an impulse sealer but it sucks balls and doesn't seal evenly, always leaves these little pin-prick holes Your seals look real nice and clean though, I'm jelly. I guess since I'm here I may as well ask what bags you're using too? I gotta reorder this week.
