HANDBOOK FOR THE THERAPEUTIC USE OF LSD-25 INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PROCEDURES

Thanks to Michael Pollans book "How to change Your Mind" I've came across the information that psychedelics were successfully incorporate into psychoteraphy and alcoholism treatments. This pushed me into quest of finding what methods were used during those sessions.

Lo and Behold, it turns out there is whole handbook for therapists describing process of guided trip used in 50's and 60's.

So far I still haven't finished it whole, but I thought it might be of great benefit for both Trip Sitters as well as incorporating best practices into ones own trips.

Your oppinions are welcome.

I just cracked this open and I can't wait to share with my gf. We are two young people in the process of becoming "adults" and hence are facing difficulties from both of our problematic childhoods. While I have been an introspective person (mostly due to being introverted and turning inwards after my life fell apart when I was in high school) for a few years now and have learned in some ways to accept myself, I still have a long way to go. This text is amazingly similar to my own philosophy. I love the way the text describes the building up of pressure that you are not even aware of and how a trip can allow you to release that. I can't wait to share these ideas with her (I can't lie, it does feel somewhat validating to read this text).
