Hey guys. This is my first time foraging/posting. I suspect panaeolus cinctulus. It has been a low of 12 deg Celsius at nights for about a week now. I have uploaded pictures of both mature and baby ones, I suspect they are all the same crop. I’m unfamiliar with a lot of the terms, so ask if something is unclear and I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Mucho Gracias
Habitat: Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada - 20 km inland, at about sea level. Small garden box housing a cannabis plant - moist, shaded soil
Gills: They seem dark, pics attached
Stem: Thin, hollow stem
Cap: See pics. Ask for more info
Spore print color: I just put them on a piece of white paper.. will keep you updated.
Bruising: Nothing showing yet - just picked them
Other information: A black twig looking caterpillar was munching on the most mature one’s gills. It didn’t seem to be tripping haha

Cool.... NS Local Here Too!... Curious About Your "Pot Soil".... Did Ya Buy a "Pro Mix" Bag?... Or Was it Local Compost? (Possibly a Combo of Both?) Regardless... Pretty Interesting!

Is there a way to “re-plant” the spore print card? I planned to just rip/cut it into pieces and bury it under a thin layer of soil.
Also, for anyone interested... spore print looked like chimney soot after ~18hr (see pic).

Those are some damn good prints, you could scrape some of the spores into some clean water and use it to inoculate some more substrate.
