so this is my method
normally i wrap my sub in tin foil if i take it out of my monotub.
when i was to flush i inject sterilized water inside the sub and cover the top in it for 12 hour. once i pour it off it goes into a dark cyc for 48 hrs then 12hr on with light and 12 off. I also use fish tank water in my sub as i find it creates bigger flushes and some 75 g + wet mushies..
curious on peoples thoughts on this?

Mushrooms aren't plants. Your fish tank water has some nitrogen in it, but mushrooms don't need plant fertilizer. They get their energy from the grain. It's also likely to be very dirty with bacteria. I suspect you are fooling yourself about any positive effect.
The sterilized water is unnecessary. Tap water is fine, pretty clean out of the tap in most places, and colonized substrate is pretty resilient to chlorinated tap water. It won't hurt, but why bother?
The light cycle, you're just playing games with yourself. Mushrooms aren't weed, they don't need a specific length of daylight to flush like weed does to flower. Their biggest triggers, depending on species, are water, oxygen/CO2 balance and temperature.
You'd have to demonstrate better biologic efficiency than the tried and true methods to get much respect. Do you have yield data?
Just my opinions, based on a fair amount of reading on the biology of mushrooms, and a few crops of multiple varieties and species under my belt, along with being a long time forager.
