Just curious on when I should start seeing some growth for my wbs and brf tek spawn? I've read multiple posts regarding if you should spawn completely in the dark or have some ambient light? Thanks for the help !

From a spore syringe? Usually day 3-5. Could be a couple weeks though.
Those pints or whatever of brf are pretty likely to stall out, people have problems even with tall half pint jars.
Why did you decide to do both? Im assuming the plan is to shred the brf to bulk since it’s not gonna come out of the jar intact. I’m a big fan of wbs myself, super easy.
Also light is good at all stages.

Mushrooms love light at all stages. If you can, keep the jars in a well lit area!! they will grow much faster!!

Thanks for the feedback. I did it as a back up just in case the wbs wouldn't colonize or get contamination.
I'm gonna spoon out the brf cakes in a bulk was my plan. If they do indeed stall out can I still put what is colonized in the bulk ? And yes , both are from a spore syringe

just wait for it to finish. No need to use a spoon, just bang the jars on something to break up the grain, and pour it out
if you spawn with uncolonized grains, it will most likely contaminate!
if it stalls, you probably have bacteria or mold waiting to show it self

no worries. use this: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/search.php
limit it to past 5 years or so, and you probably could also benefit to limiting results to TC's only
