Growing in a un-cleanable room

I'll try to make this short. I'm looking to start my first grow within the next couple of weeks. The problem is the only room I can grow out of is a small cistern in the basement, roughly 12'X 5'X 5'6".
Now, this house is gross on a foundational level. For reference, the management for the property has recommended tearing down the building after I move as it wouldn't be worth trying to restore. In short, I don't think I'd be able to clean the room fully and keep it clean given the state of the house.
It's a stale basement so I'm planning on using a fan to get the FAE flowing however I direct you to the paragraph above. The fan would undoubtedly cause contaminates to go flying around the room like dandelion seeds.
I've considered using a tarp or some kind of plastic covering to line the walls, floor, and ceiling with. Creating a sort of bubble to house my monotubs, but my inexperience has made me doubtful of this plan. Any advice on the situation would be appreciated.

You can grow in a dirty room. The most concerning part about growing is ensuring that you have clean spawn. If you produce clean spawn and are able to achieve sterile tek, you can grow in a dirty room because the myc will be resistant to contams once it’s fully colonized. I prefer a bedroom closet

^^^yep.
Lots of people here grow in moldy basements. My growroom actually has two layers of carpet and my dogs are in there more often then not. If I leave a plate open or mess up sterile technique it’s almost guaranteed to be instantly doomed but as long as everything is done carefully it’s fine.

bingo
clean spawn is the most important thing the rest is all secondary. but it is of coarse wise to at least try to clean the room the best u can without goin crazy over the edge with it. just give a good vaccum/mopping and dust you know just typical house cleaning nothing fancy and just try to keep it as clean as you can. like if u have a trich bomb waiting to go off get it out of the house all together. just try to limit it the best u can. most all of our houses have so many contams in them you prolly dont really even wanna know what all is in ur house lol but as long as u have clean spawn and good practices ul be just fine i promise
