So I just opened my tub to start the fruiting stage and noticed these three little bacteria looking dots. Don't know how else to describe them other then they look like what bacteria looks like magnified with little prongs all around it. Anyway to recover the tub? The rest looks great. Coir and verm

I’ve never seen that kind of contam before, if it is a contam. Curious myself to see what someone says. Doesn’t look like any bacteria I’ve ever seen. What does it feel like if you touch it lightly?

Wow, I've never seen anytghing like that other than in my textbooks. I'm at work right now and can't pull the info., but you may want to investigate Sepedonium species (classic Y3ellow mold), and Aspergillus mold). That's all I can give right now -will try to get back here, but hopefully someone else will chime in and enlighten us all. This is pretty curious!

Now that I have a minute to think about this, if it IS yellow Aspergillus, what you have is a VERY toxic form of mold. Aspergillus flavus is a very potent source of hepa toxins (it destroys liver cells, i.e. kills you). I'm not saying that this is what you have, but rather I'm just saying be VERY cautious. Anything yellow that is growing in a sub/tub is highly unusual and should sound alarms.
Grain infected with Aspergillus flavus (yellow Aspergillus), wipes out entire flocks of chickens. I don't follow this stuff but poultry farmers do, and I know that it happens.
I would Google Aspergillus flavus, click on images, and see if any of the uploaded photos match what you have going on in your project. Wish I could be more of a help; I'm only doing this off the top of my head, but this is all I can do right now.
Yellow contams on your substrate= red flags. But like I said before ^ , maybe someone else has seen this and it is nothing to worry about?
