Making an LC from a master spawn jar

So i had a friend suggest pouring a sterilized "pre-LC" solution (4% carb of some sort - karo, honey, etc.) into a used master spawn jar and leaving few stuck grains in there to make an LC.
Has anyone used this TEK successfully? I thought it was a resourceful idea.
Thoughts?

Let’s be real this is your idea
Interesting line of thinking though but very hard to guarantee the grain jar is clean. Once it is opened up to spawn the grain then all sorts of foreign bacteria and spores are entering it.
LC is nutritious and will invisibly grow contaminants very effectively so my first thought is why take the risk? IMO it would be better to take one of the colonised grains from the jar and grow it out on agar for a couple of transfers, then use that for the LC.

If you g2g in front of the flow or in a sab and follow all the proper sterile teks it could work. For sure. But what's the point? It's far far far more risky than just creating LC out of an agar plate and it's really really easy to keep agar going and making ever living shit tons of LC. Why add an extra step that greatly increases your chances of failure.
Also, this has been done and written about. Search "GLC" and i think you'll find some write ups.

TBH it wasnt my idea. I was just chatting with a fellow cult and he mentioned he was doing this. I think the grain to agar is a better option, but i wanted to hear any feedback so thanks!

agar to agar is the best. It's about minimizing cell division. Grain to agar works for sure but involves more cell division.
