That’s the idea - the grass (or alfalfa I use sometimes) keeps a nice humid microclimate where the pins form and start to mature.

Well fuck this brings me some hope, these fuckers really are slow. I'm coming back to the hobby after a hiatus so I want to see shrooms so bad already but...had the brilliant idea to try PE for the first and it happens to be my only proyect. I'm learning the hard way that impatience and wanting shrooms fast don't go well with these.
Spawned some tubs on 8/15, they were 100% colonized at day five and were cased on 8/25 with 50/50 buffered with lime and gypsum, casing overrun on all tubs. Been knotting like that for 2 or 3 days, c'mon already!

Hello Sirs and Madams .... Madams and Sirs,
I hope this finds you doing well. A person I do not know has found themselves in a delima. First ... the pics that a birdie shared at a concert with over 1000 concert observers ->

This person who I do not know got back from out of town today after being away for 6 days. This person who I do not know who has a sister that is Australian was told all of these bags appeared fully colonized and healthy before that person departed. So, in the first two pics it appears as though the bags are ready to spawn to h-manure/wheat straw bulk in monotub and let 'em rip. It's the bags that are labeled Pan that might cause a discerning observer a level of concern. This person who I do not know was never told that before departure for holday the Pan basgs looked just as colonized and healthy as the other bags. The problem is that upon return today a person believed that the PAN bags .... and the picture of the Pan metabolite indicate a severely stressed set of Pan bags. To this ned ....... should these bags be spawned to the 50/50 manure/wheatstraw pasteurized mix? If not, in the pic of the "h-manure soup" LC ..... could a human who draws breath simply pluck that puck of the nice healthy and white mycelium off the top of that LC and make another two bags using that puc as if it were a Pastywhyte agar plate ...... and NOT leave them too long this time? Any ideas or thoughts are HUGELY appreciated by a person in a far off galaxy.

Thanks! Honestly, this was easy. Top-notch strain and a little bit of effort... If I was able to do this without any hi-tech equipment, anyone can. Just need a good culture that's it. Can't wait to test the clone, but even the MS performed greatly.
Oh, and it's totally worth it. Million percent.

Not yet, but hopefully soon. I don't trip very often. But I have one experience with Pan Bisporus and that was STELLAR. So can't wait!

Ran a bunch of bags to test several things. Turned out to be a cool thing. The 3 best bags yielded a total of 7 dry ounces on one flush. 3 quarts sterilized hpoo verm 1 quart spawn. Here are a few pics of one bag.
