Is there something wrong with taking the stems? I see some sites only sell caps.

the drugs are stored in the 2 thin outer most layers of the cap

Thats actually too definite of an answer.What are the sources behind it? Logically for such a statement a kind of "localisation of X compounds in Amanita Muscaria" study must have been made...

Even the stems contain ibotenic acid/muscimol, but A Muscaria is such a common mushroom, that poeple might as well eat caps vs. stems since they are plentiful and caps contain more active ingredients. Stems are usually pretty nasty and filled with bugs sometimes! I toss my leftover stems under a spruce tree in my yard so that someday A muscaria will grow in my yard!

yeah stems have contents be the differance is really great thats why when smoking amanita its best to smoke the outter layer of the cap gils and stem increase nausea but if you not gona eat it and you are going to make tea sure throw everything in

yeah i have but only formosa in nj and i only found 1 ever but i go to college in VT and find red ones and yellow
This is my one and only NJ one rest are VT









tons in vermont i cant wait for the next season im thinking of going to up state NY or pine barrens

In Siberia and Russia there is a lot ir people consuming amanita muscaria, but Į can't read in russian so my info is from YouTube, so thay eat Raw stem beformė mushroom hunting, thay say it gives streng and endurance to walk in forest for houres. Caps are eaten only dried and drieing tooks 60 days, only then is tea made or eaten Raw. And thay recomend to eat or drink it ones a month, more is bad for u. Olso theres alot peaople on microdosing. ..
