Wavy cap, monotub help/thoughts

First time attempting to cultivate, since when I started Ive seen that this type is hard/next to impossible.. unless tayloring it with alder chips, etc. I colonized northspore grains, injected with spores, transfered to tubs with their boomr bag substrate (pasturized manuer). I think the only reason I may have a shot, is because it is manuer based. After colonized, I cased woith cyco coco (based on northspore monotub video) sprayed it twice heavily. Once casing was about 30% I activated fogger and fans. Fogger is with regulator set at 85 and to turn on within -4. Fan kicks on for 1 minute once every hour to encourge evaporation/pinning. I activating pinning 10 days ago. Im just hoping someone may have a healthy tip.. noone ever tries cyans indoors, I will probably be ordering cubes once these fail/succeed.
Side note, because I doubted these would work, I also have some pftek jars 1/4 so far colonized, also spread the last of my spore bag grains in my flower bed. Sprinkler kicks on twice a day for 1 minute (live in PNW) so there is hope maybe one of these will work. Pf tek probably not with cyans tho. Anyways thanks, if anyone has thoughts to share.

I didn't even think I'd see this much mycelium on my first attempt, but I've read growing mycelium is the easy part, getting them to pin is the tough part..

Does anybody think I have a chance in hell of actually pulling this off?

Should I sprinkler a couple handfuls of coco over the tub that is more colonized, spray with h20 to field capacity, to avoid an an overlay?

I'm sure if this were cubes, I'd probably be successful.. but cyans are so amazing I was greatly drawn to them. Best experiences visually ever with them in nature.

You’re doing way too much with them manure should not be used you put spores to agar to make sure it’s clean then you put that to straight wheat ,from there it goes into Alder chips that’s it I have nine large 5 gallon tubs growing and they are producing mushrooms in the middle of August in 90° weather

Yeah I know it’s a mono tub grow I’ll bet you anything if I were to just set these in my house they would still pin
The point is don’t think you’re making some kind environment you think they may like just leave them exposed to the elements and they’ll do fine

Okay, i created my membership to post my experience.. in 14 days I will check that out and do that. I found related posts for spores to agar, I have 4 syringes of wavy cap left in the fridge. Def, go down that ave next. I will also do research on your thread regaurding "strait wheat".. I picture actual harvested wheat, but thats probably incorrect. Almost like a straw type substrate to colonize under/mixed alder chips.
Hopefully that thread will be eye opening. Really looking forward to diging in once my membership gets past its probationary 14 day period.

Also wondering now, with these once these finish, putting them in the alder chips in a couple weeks may be successful

Ordered fine and chunky alder. Will give it another go, some with the pftek broken up.. Also try spore syringe to agar, to wheat, to alder. Thank you, I have time an resources to give it a go, before going down the path of cubes.

I didn’t know you couldn’t read that ......I just bought alder sawdust the easier it is for mycelium to digest the better it works
This is my original post as I’d like to spread them all around the PNW https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26254987
Well my grain to Alder Wood chips has worked really well and successfully here it is the middle of August and I already have pins poking up

I have a unique set up to keep the slugs away from the mushrooms , they are sitting on a cart with the tubs placed in between ladder runs this keeps the slugs from being able to go up into the containers

Also trying outside, scraping back our multch, mycelium has looked happy.. tho there is also the rhyzosphere of other plans, that looks identical to what I put there. Who knows, was my 3rd shot to try and make them work this season

Do you think if recase with coco, knocking/delaying them until alder chips arrive, add alder at that point, they may actually pin? I ordered fine and chunky..

Man i saw that! Or the early signs of pins, when i saw the post... Going to get some nurient agar ready tray 20 pack.. use a SAB and dowel the center, carefully spore syringe a drop in the center, hopefully have the success you have. Feel like ive already missed the season and pissed my grain bags away on manuer substrate. Just remembered as a kid saying the ones we ate were located in a cow pasture. Ha.
Figure Ill throw alder chips in a bin, dump a few buckets of boiling water, wait 24 hrs and spread them inside the current tubs.
Sprinkled coco on top of the grain bits that are showing up above the current casing, to avoid them drying out and causing contam issuea. Held a spray bottle couple feet away and let the mist fall onto the mycelium.. hoping the evaporation triggers what the fog is not doing by itsself.. even with the fogger the coco dryest spots are getting bigger.
