Could someone post some pics from a spore print to agar and how to sector this out for subsequent transfers (yes i have used the search function).
Everytime i have had any success germinating from print to agar, the myc looks weak and wispy:
2 week:

1 week:

(Sorry pics arent the best).
Could use your help figuring this process out a bit more. Thanks!

Honestly easiest way to research anything now days is youtube. And best place get spores is FB groups. Cheapest right from other people.

DcevLearn, that was helpful. Were would you sector out on a 1st transfer from print? What are you looking for when sectoring? I am familiar with more rhizo plates but not first transfers. Do germinating spores on agar always look weak and wispy?

No reason for FB groups. That seems a little sketchy to me. Also, other than my first print, I've gotten pretty much every other print for free from cultivators here. Either trade them a variety I have or just straight up giveaways. Cant get cheaper than that.

Thanks guys. Im not actually looking for prints. I am interested on how to successfully germinate and propagate from prints. Do all spores on first transfer look "weak". And were are you transferring from? The most dominant leading edge?

I'm not an expert on it yet but they can. The process isnt gonna be very clean but once you take a few transfers they may perk up. And I'd go with the dominant leading edge

Yeah germination myc can look a little weaker or translucent or sparatic than myc on like transfer 2. That's not 100% true. I've had germination plates that could've probably went to grain. But that's not common. Normally it's a transfer or two
