Grain too wet, How to fix

I made some popcorn yesterday. Thought I had them dry enough. I PC'd them and now I have maybe a teaspoon of water in the bottom of my jars.
Dump and start over? Pour it out and PC again?

Both are an option.
Also, sometimes all you gotta do is just shake it up to redistribute the water...let the grains soak it up.

I did that and 20 minutes later its back at the bottom. They sat over night in the PC. I think I'll give it a few more hours and if its still wet I'll drain it out on a paper towels and PC again.

I use a beach towel to air dry with an oscillating fan pointing in the direction of the corn for 45 minutes after a strain/drain. What kind of lid did you use? Polyfil? Micropore tape? Unmodified?

A teaspoon seem like a bit too wet. I would start over, but if you want to try and salvage add a teaspoon of verm at the bottom and re-pc. Perhaps in the future add the 1 teaspoon of verm from the start to help balance moisture.

Try out wild bird seeds. If you fuck them up it won't matter because they're so cheap...

Micropore on the lids
I never noticed water in my corn jars before and I made Zero attempt at drying them. Same procedure only difference is I used popcorn in stead of deer corn. The last 50lb bag or deer corn I had i loaded the corn directly into the jars full wet. These I used a towel and then paper towels to dry.
Maybe my lids are shot? Maybe I didn't get the foil wrapped tight enough?(which would be a first after about 50 grain jars and never having this issue)

It's all in the grain prep and sterile procedure....don't give up on WBS...it's good stuff.
Also, if you're still having pooling issues after shaking, then yeah either start over or redry and PC.

If its the same lids you've used through 50 jars then i personally would try new lids or maybe polyfil on your next run and see if that changes anything. Millet is great too and i haven't gotten to oats yet but i have more healthy successful looking myc with corn idk what it is yet but just my experience.
