I didnt poke any holes in the bottom And filled a couple inches of the perlite with water and its staying at 99% humidity. Ive got small holes on the top and a fan on top of a circle of holes for FAE. No idea if this has been tryed before.

So your telling me its not gonna work when its already working? It actually has less holes than a SGFC so how does your logic work?

a sgfc works the way it does cuz the air comes up thru the damp perlite there for creating humidity im the fc. personally i dont like sgfcs as they tend to dry shit out fast as fuck. so unless u can basicly hover over the thing all day every day. your gnna have dryness issues. essentially what you have then is a hc (humidity chamber) but with too many holes in it. humidity chambers dont need/have that many holes in them for the same reasons the sgfc dries shit out too fast. and then if u go adding fans into the mix iits just gnna dry shit out even faster. also having still water is a terrible idea also as it will stagnate and will be a breeding ground for contams that u dont want. i think where u caused the confusion was by not using the correct terminology of your fruiting chamber.
i agree hc is way better than sgfc in my opinion but a real hc dont have all those holes that a sgfc has not counting the bottom holes

It doesn't have many holes and they are pretty small. I only turn the fan on for a few minutes to get FAE and it seems to be working. Definitely got a point with the stagnant water.
