Bone collecting
    #26916737 - 09/04/20 03:12 AM (3 years, 4 months ago)

If you found a cemetery that was untouched and did research to find the most likely person who was buried there was a slave owner would you feel guilty collecting his skull? It’s a misdemeanor to disturb a gave where I live and the grave is unmarked only found in historical new papers and maps.

Is morally wrong  to cop a slavers  skull?

Respect is what's at stake here. One should respect all humans, dead or alive.

I appreciate you being willing to listen.

If you want a human skull, you can buy a professionally cleaned and serialized one from medical science suppliers. Likewise, wolf skulls, and other skulls can be purchased and the proceeds usually support something good.

Grave robbing isn't a proper way to get one; let the dead rest. If someone donated their body to research then they likely knew ahead of time that they would be practice bodies for surgeons and their bones would likely be used as a classroom skeleton, or kept on display. It was them effectively giving permission.

There are a few neglected and forgotten cemeteries locally, but this isn't an invitation to pilfer them. Best let the oaks and cactus overtake them and dust return to the earth from which it came.

Gacy had a wide variety of bones to choose from as well in his crawl space.
