Help with Fruiting/Surface Conditions

Hey all,
I'm new to cultivation and I'm having some difficulty with my first grow with surface conditions and getting the mycelium to fruit. My tub is fully colonised and covered in mycelium, but the surface looks quite different to other tubs I've seen.
Further, water droplets aren't collecting on the surface of my tub when I mist, but rather pooling. Is there a way to counteract this?
I'm fanning frequently, 5x a day.
The strain is Mazatapec.
Here's a picture:
Any tips, tricks or insights would be very appreciated, I'd love to see some fruits!

How did you grow it? Did you clean up on agar? how long ago did you spawn it? Why are you fanning (we dont do fanning anymore)?
To me this tub looks contaminated. On the top part you can see a very dark area that may be a mold. The surface doesnt look good. You say your myc doesnt hold water droplets, probably because you fanned it too much and dried up the surface once.
Unsure if this tub will fruit. But you should put a flipped lid on it and see what happens, this is if its even worth keeping indoors by now.
For future grows use agar (not straight syringes to grain) and then follow this tek: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26043820

I'm a newb as well, so my opinion isn't worth much, but that doesn't look like cube myc to me. At the very least I'd say it's badly contaminated. The area up in the top-middle, in particular, looks very bacterial

Ahhh I didn't even notice when I posted that photo, but that dark area is actually just a shadow. Here's another pic without that shadow: http://
But yeah, it definitely doesn't look like the cube mycelium I've seen in other people's grows. It was from a MSS so probably bad genetics?
It colonised super quick, like 5 days after spawn to bulk.
