Necessary? I'd say technically none cause people have fruited in darkness before. I've seen it and it creates very thin, sick looking fruits.
As of right now, most people agree that 6500k spectrum light on a 12 hour on 12 hour off schedule is ideal. But not necessary. I've done plenty of killer grows with just some indirect sunlight. I would say "worst case" is throw them somewhere around a window. I put worst in quotations because that will still make for a canopy with good conditions, culture, and healthy spawn

I’ve had good grows with just basically dusk level sunlight coming in the window because there’s a big heat screen covering it outside.
Definitely not like plants, you can get away with surprisingly little light a lot of the time.

I got an led bulb that has 800 lumens and it seems decently bright shining through the tub at about a foot above it..

For what reason do you wan't a light when growing? Unless you're growing in a room without windows
Fungi aren't using photosynthesis so light isn't really essential as when growing plants.

I’m a beginner and just harvested my first mushrooms a few hours ago, but I noticed that when I had my tub at a certain place (a few meters away from a window with indirect sunlight most of the day), all of the mushrooms started bending towards the window, obviously looking for more light. I then put the tub closer to the window, which made them grow straight again. So even if it’s not for photosynthesis, they still seem to like light.

Yeah sometimes they’ll definitely grow towards it. It does help with cap development I guess but it just doesn’t take much. When I started a couple people said if there’s enough light to read that’s plenty.

Indeed they wan't some light. My point is, if you've got a window you don't need to setup other lights. As you say, you just moved then and they were fine again. But ofc if you don't want your mushrooms to grow towards the light then why not.
I've also seen shrooms growing away from the light while having another tub growing straight up event hough the tubs where stacked.

I use my ceiling fan light, with regular old bulbs. On during the day, off while I sleep.

Light is much better but not a primary concern (they do not have chlorophyll and don't rely on photosynthesis like plants).
6500k lights 12/12 is optimal. 5000k is a little too red (but not that close), you want more blue spectrum. This helps as secondary pinning trigger and a beacon to help the fruits grow upwards.
Lumens or output is less critical, but when we grow with higher lumens in the 6500k range, they look much healthier.
They do grow in the dark, but its not optimal.

I keep my light off during the day due to anxiety because it calms me down.
