Homemade Tote Humidifier Improvement Help

Hey Everyone,
So my second version of Myer's Mushroom's ultrasonic humidifier has a couple flaws. (
I'm struggling with fog pouring out the sides of the tote despite adding weather stripping. I suppose I could have done a better job with the stripping, but it seems no matter what the fog seems to find it's way out and causes the tote to drip a bit. I would really like it to not have any leakage at all. Do you guys have any recommendations on this issue or any advice for the humidifier in general? Below are the specs:
*House of Hydro 12 disc mist maker *Coolerguys 80mm (80X80X25) High Airflow Waterproof IP67 12v Fan *big tote *float valve/waterline *Ducting to green room (10x10) *Hose for emergency overflow drain
Ignore the big fan on top. That is just my fresh air intake.
I thought maybe attaching a bigger fan to the ducting to the tent and having the humid air be sucked through it and into the tent would help, but water started getting into the fan and then dripping out onto the top of the tote. Plus I'm pretty sure if I left that big fan going the humidity would kill the motor.
ANYWAY thanks for checking it out guys. I'm pretty proud of it anyway despite its flaws. I have it attached to a humidity controller as I work towards my goal of having a pretty automated greenhouse.

Remember that the fog wants to take "the path of least resistance" so one reason it could come out the cracks in the tote is if there is excessive air pressure (caused by excessive air intake fan flow). But have you tried just adding weights to the top? That might be the simple fix. If that doesn't work, I'd pull off the weatherstripping and just put down a bead of silicone sealant instead, but you may need the weights either way.

The weight idea is excellent! I'll give that a go. Not sure about the excessive air pressure though only because the fan on the side is so small I can't imagine it would be that impactful. Thanks for the tip!

I have a similar setup but just a single exhaust fan for the tent that pulls in fresh air through the tote and into the tent. So something like Humidifier->Tent->Exhaust fan No dripping/leaking anywhere since there is always negative pressure for the fog. The exhaust fan needs to be waterproof (e.g. IP67 rated) of course.

So you don't have a fan pulling in fresh air you just have an exaust fan taking out the old CO2 air? How does the fog get from the humidifier tote and into the tent? Do you have the exaust fan running constantly or timed? Sorry haha can you describe your setup in a bit more detail. Trying hard to get this tent dialed in for oysters and Lion's mane. Appreciate your help!

Well, the exhaust fan doubles as the intake fan at the same time, since when it runs, it draws in fresh air through the humidifier into the tent. Here is a simplified picture of the setup:

Since the only opening of the tent besides the exhaust is the intake connected to the humidifier tote, the fan pulls in the fresh and humid air from the tote into the tent, and exhausts the old CO2 rich air. I actually use an Arduino microcontroller that runs the fan for 10sec like every 2 minutes. It switches the ultrasonic misters on and off based on the current humidity in the tent measured by a digital hygrometer connected to it. Oysters and Lion's mane really need a lot of air exchange. Here is the result of the last batch:
