The perfect fall day in New England is the best, cool dry air, still warm direct sun, smell of leaves and earth.  Only thing I enjoy just a tiny bit more is the smell of the first snow of the year, after that I wish it would stop and be spring again:rofl2:

I love them all, with the exception of late winter as I find winter goes on too long here in Canada. Early winter is nice though  There's a reason for every season! :sun:

Autumn is by far the best. Cooler temps, changing leaves, the smells in the air, the sense of magic that permeates the season, etc.....

Fuck yeah. Shit makes me want to sprout goat legs and trapse off into the woods with a panflute. Usually, tho, I just put on something woolen, run around in the yard playing a saxakazoo and then rub one off behind the bushes.

Indian Summer in NE US was always end of August, 1st week of sept where'd you'd get a string of 90+ days, then by sept 15 mean high was 71, and mean low was 59. That's for Boston which due to urban heat retention and creation would be higher than surrounding areas.  Waking up for school and its 55F out was pretty fucking chilly.

Blue hill's a great spot, super crowded due to the pandemic now though. This spot is north of the city. There are lots of little lesser-traveled conservation areas with pop-up views of the city in my area

Nice, and beautiful pic, you take it?  Yeah I'm not to familiar with north/northwest of boston other than a few towns and Kowloons lol.  I am a native south east Masshole almost in RI.

I like them all, but in fall and winter you can wear stylish and different clothes. Summer is mainly shorts and a T shirt for me.

I like wearing coats because they hide my weakling arms and frail and dainty torso
