I could have snuck some half price walnuts today, I was at BulkBarn and buying some nuts and candies and when she rang the walnuts up she hit dried cranberries and the price said $7, so I said the screen says dried cranberries, then she thanked me and switched it to walnuts and the price was like $15, so I didnt do myself any favours but at least I was honest

Im having milkshakes on the 24th so I ordered these smoothie/milkshake straws off Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MZ4MRV2/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A lot of times at HomeDepot they forget to ring something up. Just yesterday I got a free cinnamon broom from them. I usually don't tell them if I notice because I literally spend $100,000 to $150,000 there every year so I look at it like a loyal customer reward. They cost me a lot of money too with open packages and bad materials. I've noticed it's almost always the black ghetto type girls that don't care about their job, smiling, saying hello, or being nice at all.

If it's a small mom n pop store or something the worker could get in trouble for then I definitely tell them.

@rex and LC - it might be the full moon we just had!! *witchy woo woo hands

Also speaking of books, I’m reading Joe Hills NOS4A2 and working on Spillover, forgot the author, but it’s a scientific book regarding pandemics starting from viral infections of animals. Eyyyy, seems like I can’t get enough pandemic related stuff either during this time haha

Also I should probably invest in audible now that I’m crocheting haha, it’s hard to watch stuff fully and takes up a lot of time

Sara!!! You better let us read it when it’s finally done, even if you don’t publish!! Haha well, if you want

I bought $90 worth of stuff today, including the book The Diabetes Code by Jason Fung MD

I can only spend $10 more on my creditcard this month, and the $30 in my wallet if I want to have enough money in October to buy my Kratom, so Basically I have like $40 to last me the month, and October will be about the same, I think I will have about $40 left after I buy my kratom

I was smoking out in the garage when my phone's battery died while playing a video.  I hadn't noticed it needed to charge so I put in on charge and looked around my foot because I saw some movement down there.  A spider slightly smaller than a dime is chillin, slowly exploring its surroundings.

I decide to watch the spider's actions for a bit and see him go to check out a garden sprinkler.  Inside of the sprinkler is a spider web, so I thought this could be the spider's home.  It was not.  The spider became trapped in the web, tangling several of its legs immediately as it thrashed and tried to free itself.  Not long after, a spider the size of a matchhead comes from the shadowy corners of the web to see what was caught.  They fight for a good 2 or 3 minutes before the dime-sized spider became too tangle to fend off the smaller spider's bites. It was pretty epic to see a spider get caught in a web and quickly taken out by a much smaller spider  :bonghit:

Sounds dope! I was feeding a spider who made my loph seedlings cup it's home the occasional mosquito or fly I came across. He seems to have left a few days ago though, probably wasn't getting much in his web other than what I gave him.

Speaking of spiders I keep getting bit at night when I'm sleeping. I've suffered like 5 bites in the last 10-ish days. Probably from the same damn spider, idk. And they itch like hell. It's driving me crazy.

My daughter's hamster died last night. Idk what happened we took care of her well. She had a giant cage with all kinds of cool toys. I think she was a russian dwarf? Friendliest little hammy that ever happened. I felt so bad, we buried her under the willow tree and my daughter wandered around for a while picking dandelions and foes to put on her grave. So sad. RIP Maple, the happiest hammy there ever was

Sorry to hear, Larry. RIP to the little guy.

Looks like the average life expectancy for a hamster is 2 to 3 years so they only have a brief window when it comes to years on this planet.

Awr, that's a bummer, sorry to hear.
I used to breed Russian Dwarfs, they really are the cutest ever.
They only last 1.5 years at most.. I'm sure Maple enjoyed its life to the fullest because of your family's care.

Niffla, sounds like bed bugs to me. Let's see the bites.

It's not bed bugs. I know a spider bite and these are legit spider bites. Not even the biggest and baddest bed bug on the planet could inflict the type of bites I got right now.
