HELP - contamination identification (16th day of spawn run)

Hi guys.
I havent opened my monotub (bulk) for 2 days and today I found some green stuff on the surface. My questions are:
1. What is this contamination? 2. Can my tub be saved somehow? 3. Can it be saved by cutting this piece of spawn or by forcing tub into fruiting condition (but it's still not 100%)?
Thanks for the help in advance. It is my first tub, I dont want it to fail. Picture is attached to the post.

Salut!

That is Trich unfortunately.
You can try cutting the area out but it’s dead center and you’d have to cut so much you’d be left with two little ends of a tub. You can look underneath the tub and probably see a large dark shadowy area where the trich has already spread its parasitic and communist influences.
Any time I’ve had trich show up before pins (and most definitely if before full colonization) it has been a failed tub.
In the future you can go to ‘fruiting’ conditions right away after spawning. Give them some air from day one and they will fruit when ready, there’s no forcing of mushrooms 🍄
The top and the dark area to the right of that pic look like they’ll be showing signs of trich as well soon. What is your bulk sub?

hello,I am new to cultivation and there are so many threads so i just clicked on this thread and hope for the best
I have a quick question my mushrooms are near maturity but i am afraid they got contaminated,
based on these pictures would you say the mushrooms are contaminated? the substrate is kind of bruised someone said it was to dry so i misted it a little more than i have done during this fruiting phase and it brusied abit more than it has been doing the other times ive misted, on the largest cap there seems to be a blueish spot on the side to but is it possible for caps to eveb bruise?

Mushrooms don’t get contaminated, the substrate is what does. This thing doesn’t look super healthy but kits rarely do that I’ve seen. The myc looks matted like it’s been dried out and then misted but that blue that you’re seeing is just bruising. And yeah mushrooms bruise as well.

Substrate is manure (but really not manure, its some product I bought in garden shop), vermiculite, rice hulls and coco coir. I removed the part with green mold, put some salt in the hole and few drops of hydrogen peroxide (as suggested on this forum). But my tub is gone probably, I noticed some green parts under the substrate - I never put liner so I can see.
I have another monotub colonizing, this time with proper holes, liner, and with real fresh cow manure. It's growing so fast, in a day or two it will be fully colonized.
Do you need to put aluminum foil on top of your bulk substrate?

Nope on the foil. Just let the myc breathe.
If you’re using any kind of manure you should be properly pasteurizing your substrate. Which means keeping it between like 140-160 for an hour and then let it cool off. If you get it too hot or for too long it will kill off beneficial bacteria and the sub will tam out.
You may have already done that idk but it’s something that gets people sometimes.
