Hello dear beautiful people,
I've been researching on this for days and i cannot find a conclusion, a seller is telling me this is a san pedro (or similar mescaline containing cacti), but i am insisting that is a Peruvian apple due to my research.
can you guys please back me up on this? i cannot figure this out.

Cereus Peruvianus (Peruvian apple). Tasty fruit, not active.

+1, seller is full of it. This is a common Cereus cactus, got a few in my back yard, although mine have a lot more thorns.
Another example of scammers is the crested Mytillocactus being passed off as a crested Bridgesii at a popular site for ~$200, but on closer inspection of the thorns it's obvious its Myrtillo, tiny at that. Lot of people try to scam and ripoff by adding "Bridgesii" or "Peruvian" or "San Pedro" into the title and because it jacks the price up just like "gamer" did a few years back for computer hardware. Buyer beware.

100% Cereus sp.
The flower is even devoid of hairs. Trichocereus get their name due to the hairs that grow on flower buds. The Hairy Cereus is basically what the botanical name means.
It's a trap!

Cereus is easily the thin ribbed one, that Peruvian is thicc though.
Needs more cat tail.
