Mushy choice

Hi lads and ladies, havent been here in 2 years, im ready to start growing again, last time i grew golden teachers and transkei with the pf tek method. Everything worked fine and ended up with more than i could handle, still have some left but wouldnt fancy eating them.
My question to you guys is there a 'strain' that has a less Anxiety on the come up than these? 3 out of 5 time i had bad anxiety for around 30mins to an hour in, which 1 of those time lead down a dark path. All doses where 1-3 grams.

Not really. If I had to I’d say maybe mazatapec but cubes are pretty similar.
I would recommend trying tamps instead. Just as easy to grow and more potent plus the trip is different. You’ll get mushrooms and truffles. They’re about twice as potent as cubes so you only have to eat half as much which is easier on the stomach which means you’ll feel better. Everybody I’ve talked to has said they’re easily the most laid back enjoyable trip, some even compared it to mdma.

Have you ever tried making tea? The come up can sometimes be intense but is really quick so you just find yourself in it all the sudden and g2g.
I’ve also found cooked fresh mushrooms to hit you real quick if you eat them alone or just with a little rice or something. No or minimal stomach issues. Fresh cubes chopped small and sautéed in butter until a little golden brown.
Golden brown, texture like sun. Lays me down, with my mind she runs.
I’ve also noticed lower doses tend to have more confusion and anxiety. To a point anyway. I like an 8th at the minimum but 4-5g is strong and you’ve got no choice but to roll with it whereas the smaller tripping doses your still too much in control and you might try fighting it.

I drank a tea made with 1.3g of apes last week and it was honestly perfect, no stomach issues whatsoever and it came on quick (I had an empty stomach) like within 10 mins my body was buzzin. It was really great and don’t think I’ll ever go back to eating them whole again. Overall shorter lasting about 4-5 hours vs 6-7. I really like pe varieties because you can eat less. Apes are potent asf lol

I think most cubensis are similar in effect. You could always try a new species as others suggested. You could also try different doses. I was dosing 0.5g daily. It was good for body effects, mildly hazey in the head, and gave me a desire to move. Potency and tolerance vary by culture and person though.
Mindset and setting are powerful factors. If you've had anxiety in the past, make sure you are in a good place physically, mentally, and spiritually. I can't speak to your experiences but I've never had a "bad" episode. There were some rough times but I felt like it was necessary to work through those moments. It was challenging but good to go through.
If you ever feel like you are concerned for your wellbeing, refrain from dosing or have a responsible person there to make sure you stay safe.

Mindset definitely the biggest factor at least for me. Only used when I was in a good positive mood and never once had anxiety. Honestly best thing I read from this board before I ate just remind yourself it’s just a trip, your cognition can snap you back. I actually have very bad anxiety normally, it’s hard to describe besides making sure your mind is right before going in. I started with an 1/8th and most I’ve gone was 12g (that was fun). BUT everyone is different it’s just like medications. Some work well for others while it may have hazardous effects for others. I haven’t noticed much difference from my grows when I first cultivated. I’m looking forward to APE soon, it’s on the agar plate now.
