If the bags look like that all around the bag its time for fruiting.

Yo  JCM  you ever stare at pans for weeks praying for pins?

lol all the time brother๐Ÿ˜‚ however i usually see first pins or knott in the 3-5 day time frame. but sometimes especially with ms it can be closer to the 5-8 day time frame. but if u hit 10 days without pins since casing there is most likely an issue and it most likely wont fruit. that kind of time frame is more common when ppl case their subs and place to fruit before actual 100% colonization takes place. pans can fool you into thinking they are ready to case if you dont know what to look for just cuz the way the top looks.  that right there is the main reason i spawn to bags and mix those bags at 50% to ensure an even colonization and that way when u lay the trays its simply just a matter of letting it recover then casing and placing to fruit.

so just keep an eye on them and keep your casing moist but with periods of evaporation and then re saturation. but just be careful to check very closely b4 misting of any kind as to not hit the pins or knots. hand in there and update when u see pins๐Ÿ‘

The casing layer was too thick I bet.  How you get 1/8th inch just sprinkle it dry like fairy dust?  One day I will have marshmallow casserole like your jambos lol
