Blue foot or deadly?
    #26913707 - 09/02/20 12:35 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Found these at the library in Ohio. Seems like there was little clusters but they were also scattered everywhere. Just bruised darker and spores are dark just can't tell if they are purple brown or rusty brown, (you can kind of see it on the cap in pic with 2) doesn't seem to have a viel. When plucked the chunks of the mulch came with it, they are drying up quickly and the gills are getting darker as they dry

You won't find them in woodchips like that, the mushrooms in your pictures appear to be Galerina marginata

Probably Agrocybe arvalis, check for black sclerotia attached to the rhizomorphs.

Yeah looks those make big ass stones they can get the size of a quarter. they survive pretty much anything making this species incredibly drought resistant.

sclerotia appears to be white but hard to tell because it was attached to chunks of black mulch. Not sure what maybe mulch or sclerotia.

Spore print is finished and is regular brown.

With a regular brown print the Agrocybe arvalis suggestion sounds good.  Hypholoma prints are purple.
