ID Request - NE USA - Possible Conocybe Cyanopus?
    #26913388 - 09/02/20 08:54 AM (3 years, 5 months ago)

So I've been lurking the past couple weeks ever since I noticed some odd fellows in my area.

Today I went out an snapped pics and grabbed them as there were quite a few and they disappear when the sun comes out.

These are growing in 3 month old sod and randomly in a shady area and only last the morning before they wilt away.

I think they might be Conocybe Cyanopus as they are listed for an area near where I am.

Some of them are extremely dark brown on the underside, other light brown, others are tan.  They are all tan with a brown nippple tip.

Any help would be appreciated, I can snap more pictures or larger pictures if you need me to.  Just started a print based on some videos I saw, will keep yous posted when it's done.

.Thanks

The cyan in cyanopus alludes to blue bruising/color generally. That would have been a dead giveaway that these weren't those. Conocybe apala +2 and they are toxic
