Curvy King Pins: More FAE?
    #26913380 - 09/02/20 08:49 AM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Anybody with King experience out there? My pins are growing in sporadic directions. Is this a light issue or a FAE issue? My temp and humidity is on point. FAE is a fan that cycles in fresh air every 20mins. Light is a soft white LED on the outside of the chamber that comes on for 4 hours a day. The light only shines through one side but the internet never really provides a solid answer on the subject of light and mushrooms.

If I recall, when the caps on the pins have like no color it's usually light.  But those look pretty dry too.  You sure about that humidity being stable?

Yeah the humidity is perfect. I know that split makes it look dry but they are def getting enough moisture and evap. Maybe its a little of both air and light. Might need to move the light to the top instead of the side of the FC. To me it looks like pins that got blocked from light are trying to do a 180* 😄.

Yeah those look like the king pins I would get inside the bag BEFORE I introduced to fruiting conditions, so I think you're right it's probably light and some airflow it needs as well.
